About Sno-King Speech
Sno-King Speech, Inc. provides in-home Speech-Language pathology and speech therapy services in Snohomish and King Counties, and OT services for children on the Eastside.
We are dedicated to serving children and adults with developmental disabilities, articulation problems, language and literacy disabilities and cognitive-communication disorders, as well as individuals dealing with strokes, aphasia, voice disorders and vocal cord dysfunction, and swallowing disorders.
Our practice was founded in 2015, with an eye on the need to reduce the transportation burden for families and to provide convenient and flexible times for therapy to occur.
Services include:
- SLP Services: In-home speech therapy services and teletherapy (therapy via videoconferencing as appropriate)
- AAC Evaluation and treatment, along with deep programming for those devices
- Accent reduction services, either in home or via videoconferencing
- Occupational Therapy services for Eastside King County
- Social Communication education and training for adults and children of all ages, including those with developmental disabilities like Autism
Our experienced, fully credentialed staff has worked in a variety of settings, and uses evidence-based interventions. All staff are fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
About Our Team
Nithya Siva, M.S., CCC-SLP , owner
Nithya Siva has been a speech-language pathologist (SLP) since 1995 working in a variety of settings including medical (acute care, inpatient rehab, skilled nursing and outpatient) as well as public schools (preschool through post secondary vocational training) and private practice in both California and Washington state. She has been ASHA certified since 1996 and is WA and Montana state licensed. Nithya has also worked at the University of Washington as a clinical instructor, both supervising graduate SLP students and developing curriculum for SLP students interested in working in public schools in Washington State. She has lectured on a variety of topics including cultural considerations in provision of SLP services, TBI and adolescents, cognitive remediation in acute care and inpatient rehabilitation settings, visual-perceptual screening, and inclusive models of SLP intervention. She was a lecturer at Chapman University instructing new special education teachers on how to work with students with communication disabilities. Given that context is a critical factor in the generalizing of communication and cognitive skills to work and home, treatment in those environments (versus a clinic) can be more effective. She has lived in south Snohomish County for the past 18 years.
Rebecca Wynne, MA, CCC-SLP
Rebecca Wynne is a speech-language pathologist working in the Pacific Northwest since 2006. She has been ASHA-certified since 2006 and is WA state licensed. For the first 6 years of her career she worked for a non-profit that provides services for individuals with complex communication needs of all ages. Rebecca currently works for the Everett School District with both high School and post-secondary aged students.
She has lectured locally on augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) both implementation and funding. She periodically does webinars for Central WA University’s Special Education Technology Center on the topic of AAC and assistive technology (AT).
For the last 8 years Rebecca has had an increasing interest in social communication and how it affects interpersonal relationships for those with disabilities. She has co-taught social communication classes and has attended many continuing education courses on sexual education.
Sabiha Haider, OTR
Home-based Pediatric OT services
After finishing her OT degree, Sabiha worked in Florida in different settings including nursing homes, hospitals and school districts. In 2000, she developed a passion for Pediatrics after having the opportunity to work at a Birth-to-Three center in North Bend (now Encompass).
Since then she has enjoyed working with kids of all ages and has grown and honed her skills as a pediatric occupational therapist. She has experience in feeding therapy, Sensory Integration and Handwriting without Tears.
Besides work, she enjoys exploring the beautiful Northwest with her family, traveling, and listening to books on tape.

Chrisanne Wood, AAC Customization
Chrisanne Wood has over 20 years of experience as a programmer on a wide variety of platforms. As the mother of a nonverbal 21-year-old boy who has been communicating using various devices and applications for about 8 years, she is familiar with a number of applications because of having to modify his device regularly. Additionally she has programmed for Sno-King's clients on an as-needed basis for the past five years. She has worked as a part-time paraeducator in the Mukilteo School District where she assisted students directly. She often assisted the speech-language pathologist in the classroom with the programming of student devices .
